Tips for Travellers - how to avoid spiders and ants on the road

As summer approaches, so do the numbers of travellers...and this season is looking like it's going to be a big one.

The very first tip for anyone about to hit the road in either a campervan, caravan or family car, is to treat the vehicle with RoadBlock. Follow the how to use instructions to minimise the chances of any kind of surprise visit or infestation on the road.

The next best tip is to keep food out of the vehicle and avoid parking on grass or under trees if possible.

If you happen to meet with a spider, here is a helpful guide on how to identify the various species of Australian spiders (some of them a LOT more dangerous than other) and tips on what to do if you get bitten. The basic rule is to stay calm, call 000 and keep the affected limb down and still to prevent the poison travelling around the body.
